As a creative-type person, I’d like to think I have trained myself to take the unexpected in stride.  Today I saw something that made me go “huh?”

That something was a car taking a shower.

In the back of a car dealership.

All by itself.

A hose with a shower head type nozzle was secured in a stand. Water sprinkled down on the hood of a schwanky sports car. I didn’t notice the make and model – these things don’t concern me. I did notice, however, that it was an awful freakin’ lazy way to clean a car.

I can see the point of the nozzle in a stand for ease of washing, but there wasn’t anyone doin’ the scrub-a-dub-dub. It made me think, “Is the entire dealership really so busy that this is how the cars are washed?” If this is the case, the company should just buy a bunch of those old-style lawn sprinklers and hooked them up to hoses all around the dealership. Whole rows of cars could be rinsed at once.

I mean, if you’re gonna be lazy, be the laziest, inefficient a-hole you can be.
