Why Snail Mail Will Never Die

There is nothing quite like receiving a letter in the mail.

And by letter I don’t mean a bill, or a flyer, or another damn credit card application.
Today I received a mystery package from Roberts Creek – a lumpy letter. Most intriguing. Inside was a a pair of SpongeBob SquarePants socks and a short handwritten note: “Saw these and thought of you. Hope they put a smile on your face.” How could they not?!

I’ve a mind to start sending mysterious lumpy letters all over the place, and not just to my friends in far away places.

Consider this…no amount of new messages in your inbox will ever equal one lumpy letter in your hands.

I will happily receive lumpy letters, so long as they’re not full of oatmeal 😉

…if you do get into lumpy mail capers, check the postal guidelines. I had to squish those suckers down so they fit as lettermail and not as a (more expensive) package.
