Show & Tell #17
Operation Studio Reorganization is almost complete. While culling through my [s]crap bin I found this…
The bark is surprisingly smooth and powdery soft – like skin.
Generally, I am not a Keeper-of-Bark, but Sandra F. Lee thought it worthy enough to note when and where she found it.
I came into possession of it ten years ago, pressed between the pages of some book I got second-hand. The fact that this segment of bark is 49 years old and from the other side of the country makes it worthy enough for me to keep.
I wonder where Sandra F. Lee is now? Does she ever think about what happened to the piece of birch bark that she collected from the Laurentian Mountains in 1959?
