Spam-a-lot

Some interesting spam has been spawning in my inbox.

Normally I find stuff like “very CheapPrice Bacheelor, MasteerMBA, and Doctoraate dip1omas” or “BIG DICK FOR GREAT GIRLS”.

Lately I have been inundated with messages in a Russian font. What the hell?! What’s the point of sending out a blanket-spam that most people can’t read. The ultimate useless spam. I mean, it’s almost post-modern. In that sense I like it – the idea of it – but in terms of what spam is supposed to achieve it is more than some sense short of a ruble.

I must admit my curiosity is piqued. What kind of spam would the Russians send out? It’s kind of exotic, really.
