Vimy Madness

It’s happened. I’ve become a bit obsessed with painting the Vimy forest. Makes me wish that I had taken more photographs of it.

I’ve completed a second colour version and two progressively smaller versions:

The middle size (5.5″ x 9″) – while being too small to use as a background for animation – appeals to me because of it’s working scale; large enough to get some detail in, small enough to start and finish in a day.

I have something specific in mind for these.
