Teacher, Teacher Can You Teach Me

A weekend of teaching…much needed, financially.

Tomorrow should be interesting. I’m stepping in as a sub for an instructor. Yours truly will be teaching pre and mid-schoolers the fine art of marbling paper.

My task has been made easier by the fact that I had a crash course in the basics this afternoon (thanks Hannah!).

It is, however, reminding me of my first few years as an instructor. Someone would ask if I could teach a kite and windsock course (or some other obscure subject), and I would say, “Sure can!”, and then run to the library and teach myself how to do it before the first class.

Ahh…the good ol’ days.
