A Moment of Weakness
I bought a new pair of jeans a couple of weeks ago.
As in Never Before Owned By Anyone.
The last time I allowed myself to do that was a decade ago, and technically it was my mom that bought them for me. Oh, the giddiness of it all.
Since then, they’ve been sitting in the original bag along with the receipt in my studio while I mentally struggle with the irrationality of buying new clothes as I hurtle ever closer to the inevitable end of the savings.
Today I returned the jeans and got a refund. I used the money to buy the ink cartridges, paper, and paperclips I need to prepare more proposal packages.
I figure I can always buy new jeans with the next CARFAC fee 😉
