Summer Lit
Needing something to help fill the video-void (can’t work all day AND all night, at least not indefinitely) I realized a trip to the library was in order.
It’s been a long time since I’ve checked out anything for pleasure – not that books on small game and varmint hunting aren’t enjoyable, but they are considered research.
A dreamy hour and a half of perusing shelves and I was outfitted with popular fiction (Push by Sapphire), a scandalous classic (Peyton Place by Grace Metalious), some recent Vinyl Cafe by master storyteller Stuart McLean, and Farley Mowat’s memoir Born Naked.
If you’re reading anything worthy of a recommendation, please share…I’d love to hear about it.
