Unscheduled Show & Tell

I haven’t managed to  get back on schedule with the Muse – that’s what happens when you shamelessly neglect your blog while on a road trip.  In some small manner of appeasement I offer to you a glimpse of the recently rebooted Survival Games series.

I have been oogling the twenty or so half-finished drawings on my studio wall for well over a year now. The more I stare at them, the less interesting they become to me. Yesterday I’d reached the pinnacle of my frustration. I decided I needed to commit and start filling in the uncoloured areas. This was all well and good until I started to second guess myself.

And then I brought in the big guns. Literally.

Collaging images of rifles into the work seemed to punch them up again.

Still a long way to go, but my interest has been rekindled.
