VHS or Beta?

Ever feel like life is kinda like a video store?

You go in. Browse the aisles. Find the video you want – or at least you think it’s the one you want but you were impatient so you didn’t read the fine print on the box. When you get home and try to play it in your equipment you find out that your missing some of the big picture – you got the Fullscreen instead of the Widescreen version you were hoping for. Or it’s in French. Or it’s the director’s cut – sometimes better, sometimes just longer.

For those of you who are operating vintage equipment, sometimes your VCR decides to “eat” the tape (and you chose to waive the Tape Protection Fee).

I think my machine just ate my tape. Now the tape is unstrung and the machine is effed-up, too.
