A Funny Thing Happened On the Way to the Hottub

We made good time and arrived at the Austrian Chalet before five.

Here’s the view from our third floor loft room (and, no, there wasn’t a dire medical emergency in the pool building, that’s just where the CR ambulance’s park).

Andrew had done some pre-trip research and we were comfortably seated at The Royal Coachman pub for dinner at six.  The after dinner plan was to try and take advantage of the pool amenities before they closed for the night at ten.

But back at the chalet, beers were unloaded from the kitchenette fridge.   I added a further distraction by pulling out my sketchbook to give David and Andrew a behind-the-scenes preview to the show.  9:15 rolled around and it seemed like too much effort to get changed and walk in the cold to the indoor pool.

Instead I had the privilege of chatting with Vince, CubeApe and host of Legion of Flying Monkeys Television, in a pre-talk interview (imbedded movie to come once I have that capability).  He was a little intimidating, and whacked me on the chin a few times with his mic.

Guess not all interviewers can be Sheryl MacKay 😉
